Terry Dyer
The Journey
I grew up in Northern California, where I was deeply involved in athletics, music, and community service from a young age. I began college at Chico State studying Vocal Performance and competing in track and field before transferring to Sacramento State, where I earned my degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
For over 15 years, I’ve led across corporate and nonprofit sectors—shaping programs, building teams, and driving impact in talent acquisition, healthcare, and client services. My foundation in Vocal Performance, combined with years competing in track and field and volleyball, taught me discipline, resilience, and how to thrive under pressure. Those lessons fuel my work today as a speaker, coach, and advocate—where personal experience and professional purpose come together to create meaningful change.
